OCTOBER 23, LEARN HISTORY OF WHEELING BRIDGE

 

Princeton Public Library invites you to  learn the history of the Wheeling Bridge, located just northeast of Princeton!     Everyone is invited to attend  “ The History of  the Wheeling Bridge, presented by Harold Williams, at 6 pm, Monday, October 23rd.    See a six foot replica display of the Bridge and  learn it’s history.   Be there for the Wheeling Bridge presentation at six pm, Monday, October 23rd   at your Princeton Public Library. 

 

 

 

OCTOBER 24,  PRINCETON CIVILIAN CONSERVATION CORPS

 

Ever heard of the Civilian Conservation Corps?   Did you know that they had a camp in Princeton?    Everyone is invited to learn more as Bill Jamerson presents a music and storytelling program about the CCC Boys of Princeton;  a federal works program created by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1935, during the heart of the Great Depression.   The Civilian Conservation Corps program begins at 6 pm. Tuesday, October 24th, at your Princeton Public Library.  

 

 

 

OCTOBER 29TH TRUNK OR TREAT CAR SHOW

NOV 4, COPS & KIDS CANDY CANE PAGEANT

     Entrees  are being accepted now thru October 14th, for the “Cops & Kids” Candy Cane Pageant!    Girls age 2 thru 19 &  up, may enter.     Gibson County Cops & Kids program will host the 5th  Miss Candy Cane Pageant, at 4 pm,  November 4, in the Princeton High School Auditorium.  The Pageant is a NATURAL pageant, not a Glitz pageant.  Girls ages 2 thru 18 may enter the pageant, with all proceeds going to the Cops & Kids Program.  Entry forms and information can be downloaded from the Miss Candy Cane Facebook page at:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/MissCandyCanePageant

Gibson County Youth Center, across from Princeton Library,  is now open for the season!  Center will be open after school to boys and girls, Monday thru Thursday, from 3 til 6 p.m!  After-school activities include basketball, billiards, play station and study station beginning October 17th
