Drought Still Exceptional  E-mail

While Princeton received over and inch and half of rain Thursday night, and other areas of the county have gotten rain this week as well, officials are saying that's not enough to quench the thirst of the drought that's plaguing the area.
Nearly a quarter of the state of Indiana now is listed on the US Drought Monitor as being in an exceptional drought - the worst kind possible.
Meteorologists say the possibilities for scattered showers will continue through the weekend, but it's going to take a long, long time time get out of the drought condition.
