Haubstadt Woman Faces Federal Charges  E-mail

A Haubstadt woman faces federal charges, for allegedly making false statements about being stalked.
U-S Attorney Joe Hogsett says 35-year old Emily Snipes claimed she was being sent threatening e-mails by an unknown man when she worked for the Catholic Diocese of Evansville.
Hogsett says Snipes tried to involve diocese employees in the probe by Evansville Police, Gibson County Sheriff's Office, and FBI.
If convicted, Snipes could receive a maximum sentence of 5 years behind bars.
