Two men from Wayne County Illinois are in custody accused of stealing a large amount of farm implements and hunting equipment from area Rural King stores, including the one in Princeton.
43 year old Jerry D. Bowers and 34 year old Shawn C. Nettleton stand accused of taking more than $15,000 of deer blinds, lawn mowers, tillers, farm implements and a trailer from Rural King stores here, and in Illinois.
Investigators also recovered a number of Craftsman-brand products that had allegedly been taken from area Sears stores.
Reports indicate Nettleton told detectives he helped Bowers steal the items in return for quantities of pain pills.
