The new section of Interstate running from Gibson County to Crane will be open before Thanksgiving.
Governor Mitch Daniels and the Indiana Department of Transportation announced Friday the three sections running to US 231 near the Crane Naval Center will be officially opened to traffic on Monday, November 19th.
IN-DOT says the 67 mile stretch of highway was finished ahead of schedule and some $80 million under budget.
