Princeton Police are warning of a scam being reported by some area residents.
Officials say the scammer is attempting to get bank account information by calling from a private number - and claiming to be from Old National Bank.
The scammer has asked for the intended victim to give out his or her personal banking information - something that should never be done over the phone to someone you don't know.
Bank officials say that's a question they'll never ask if they call you for some reason.
