The former business manager of an Owensville health care center is under arrest and charged with stealing thousands of dollars from that business.
State Police troopers arrested 51 year old Rebecca Rueger of Evansville after an investigation turned up that she allegedly embezzled some $60,000 from Transcendent Health Care in Owensville.
The investigation began after administrators of the business noticed the money missing, and police say the thefts occurred over the course of time between October of 2008 and March of this year.
Rueger is charged with theft and forgery, and has been released from the Gibson County Jail after posting bond.
