Storms Leave Damage and Flooding  E-mail

Another weird weekend of weather left it's mark on the area.
Parts of Mount Carmel cleaning up after Saturday night's storm left fallen limbs and structural damage in some parts of town. Officials found siding torn from some buildings, a roof blown off another, there were trees and power lines blown across railroad tracks, and the Mount Carmel Public Library barely escaped major structural damage when a large tree blew over over right next to it.
In Gibson County several roads were closed Sunday because of floodwaters, and even a couple of rescues where residents were boated out of their homes.
Through the weekend's rains - Princeton received 3.67 inches of rain from the lines of storms.

Up to the minute weather from our partners at Eyewitness News.
