Chase Leads to Drunk Driver Arrest  E-mail

A Princeton woman arrested Saturday morning on drunk driving charges after a high speed chase through the west side of town.
39 year old Tina M Holderfield was taken into custody after she stopped at the entrance of the Princeton Wal-Mart. Princeton Police Department officers received a call around 11:30 saying someone had struck the guardrail on the Brumfield Avenue Overpass.
Officers caught up with a vehicle matching the description in front of Maidlow's Liquor Store.
Holderfield was getting out of that SUV, but when officers approached she jumped back in, and drove away.
The chase went westbound eventually going through the Wal-Mart parking lot before coming to a stop as she attempted to leave.
Police say later tests at Gibson General put her blood-alcohol content at more than four times the legal limit.
