I-69 Land Dealings Probed  E-mail

Indiana Governor Mike Pence says he's behind a possible probe of land dealings on the I-69 construction project.
The Indianapolis Star has published two investigations showing the Indiana Department of Transportation paid widely varying prices for land to build the highway - sometimes even double or triple fair market value.
A report published Sunday by the paper shows IN-DOT Chief of Staff Troy Woodruff didn't disclose his own land sale to the state, and added there were six land deals that put 1-point-8 million dollars into the hands of Woodruff's relatives.
Woodruff represented parts of Knox, Gibson and Pike County's in District 64 at the statehouse, but was defeated in 2006 by Democrat Kreg Battles.
He's denied any wrondoing in the land sales.
