Plea Deal Gives Unusual Sentence  E-mail

An unusual sentence carried out today in Petersburg.
27 year old Larry T. Bass will spend one hour today walking on the sidewalk in front of the Pike County Courthouse wearing a sandwich style sign reading - "Registered sex offender who bought alcohol for kids."
He's doing that as part of a plea agreement on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Bass admitted to buying juveniles vodka last September, while he was on probation after serving prison time for child molestation.
The Pike County Prosecutor's Office says following his public display - he'll report to the Wabash Valley Work Release Center in Vincennes to serve an additional 823 days.
