Patoka has a new Town Marshall.
The Town Board has elected to hire Patoka resident Darryl Chamberlain to the post.
A press release issued over the weekend says the vote was unanimous, and Chamberlain will begin his duties immediately.
Chamberlain is Assistant Commander of the Gibson County Jail, and serves and as Special Deputy, amassing some 14 years' experience in law enforcement.
Town officials say over the next couple of weeks he'll be inventorying department equipment, and getting settled into the job, and residents are encouraged to meet the new town marshall at Patoka's next town board meeting, March 5th.
