Speeder Arrested  E-mail

A driver heading south on US 41 near Fort Branch taken to jail after being clocked at 105 miles per hour.
Police say 20 year old Audrius D. Smith of Clarksville Tennessee was tracked on radar at the speed near Toyota just after 8 AM Sunday, and sheriff's deputies with assistance from state police troopers got him stopped near Fort Branch.
He later told police that he was trying to get back to Clarksville, was late for work there, and had gotten confused because of the difference in time zones
Police said the subsequent investigation uncovered evidence that he was carrying a marijuana cigarette.
He now faces reckless driving and drug possession charges.
