The Francisco man charged with murder and attempted murder in a January shooting in Fort Branch will see additional charges filed against him.
23 year old Austin Blaize is already charged with the murder of 47 year old Terry Monier, but Gibson County Prosecutor Rob Krieg said in a progress hearing Thursday, he could file additional charges involving the use of a weapon at the home where the death occurred.
State Police investigators say Blaize entered the home of his ex-girlfriend January 16th and tried to shoot her current boyfriend, but the gun misfired. He then fired more shots as he left, and one of those struck Monier.
Right now the trial for Blaize is scheduled to begin July 29th.
