There's a new deputy on staff at the Gibson County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff George Ballard announced Wednesday that 26 year old Daniel Greer has been named to the post - starting August first in field training before attending the law enforcement academy in November. The Princeton resident is currently a field officer for Gibson County Community Corrections, and has been a reserve officer for the Princeton Police Department. Greer is a 2005 graduate of PCHS, and attended Wabash Valley and Vincennes University, and replaces Deputy Denise Beadle, who's leaving the force in June.
