Forecasters are saying flooding near area rivers could be possible Christmas week. We could get as much as three inches of rain this weekend in southwest Indiana - and that coupled with melting snow could send the river levels up. The National Weather Service does say only lowland river flooding is expected, but they're urging residents in those area to monitor conditions, and add that flood warnings will be issued if necessary when more information becomes available.
