Tuesday Crash on SR64 is Fatal  E-mail

An Evansville man taken to the hospital after being critically injured in a Tuesday morning crash between Francisco and Oakland City has died.
The Gibson County Sheriff's Office say 33 year old Timothy K. Stephens Junior was eastbound in a 2005 Hyundai near the entrance to the Francisco Mine when he veered across the center line and sideswiped a truck just turning into the mine.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office says Stephens died at Deaconess Tuesday afternoon
Police say Stephens had just left the mine prior to the accident.
The truck driver, 46 year old David McKeon of Elberfeld was taken to Deaconess with neck and back pain.
State Road 64 was closed for about 90 minutes because of the crash, which occurred around 8:30 Tuesday morning.
